Method One: Microblading

Microblading replaces sparse individual hairs for a very natural result. This brow technique uses pigment to create hyper-realistic hair-like strokes. The pigment is implanted into the skin manually using a hand-held tool during your brow session. The device is crafted of several tiny needles that add a semi-permanent pigment to the skin. The microblade goes deeper into the skin’s epidermis (upper layers) to help create a natural-looking effect.

Who Is It Best For?

  • Likes the look of powder-filled brows
  • Wants a soft and natural look
  • Has sensitive or more mature skin
  • Has oily skin, acne-prone skin, or enlarged pores
  • Wants to create a stronger shape to their brows
  • Wants to add definition or darken their brows
  • Doesn’t want to use makeup to fill in their brows

Method Two: Ombre Powder Brows

Ombre Powder Brows give the look of gradient shaded makeup that can be as subtle or as bold as you prefer. Ombre shading uses a small machine to position very thin dots of pigment into the skin to create a 100% customizable look. Brows look most like powder makeup – hence the name Powder Brows. With this method, the pigment isn’t placed as deep into the epidermis as Microblading, but it creates a more defined, solid look than microblading alone. Ombre Powder Brows can also cover old microblading, semi-permanent makeup, or cosmetic tattooing that has (somewhat) faded.

Method Three: Nano Brows

Nano blading is more similar to Microblading than Ombre Powder Brows. Nano Brows fill in scarce, thin brows for a thicker appearance. Nano Brows use a smaller needle with a hand-held machine to deposit pigment into the epidermis to create natural-looking hair strokes. The super-fine needle creates hair-like tattoo strokes that can thicken the look of the brows and change the overall shape of your brow.

The small needle allows for excellent precision and accuracy to give you natural-looking results.

In general, all Permanent Makeup Procedures can be a little painful. You can expect it to hurt more than a traditional brow wax or tweezing, but we can use numbing cream to help ease any discomfort. At the same time, the process is considered a lot less invasive than a conventional tattoo and generally is much less painful.
Every treatment time will be unique for each customer. After all, no two brows are alike. With that being said, each procedure usually lasts around one to three hours, including drawing and preparing your dream brows. We definitely don’t like to rush here. Our number one priority is to give you flawless brows.
Everyone is different, and your healing process is individual. Typically Microblading can take around 4 to 5 weeks to heal fully. Ombre Powder Brows can take around 3 to 4 weeks to heal, and Nano Brows can take around 4 weeks. The time it takes to be healed entirely will vary from person to person, but you can expect your brows to have their final color after around 4 to 5 weeks.
A free touch up session is imperative to achieve an optimal result. After your initial session your artist will schedule your free touch up session for no less than 4 weeks and no later than 10 weeks. Colors will fade significantly (30%-40%) as your skin heals, (may peel and scabs). A touch up session necessary to “perfect” any imperfections and add more color to areas that may have faded more than others.
It depends on your skin type, life style and preferences. Your brows will get lighter and lighter overtime and there are many factors that contribute to how quickly your brows will fade. Brows will fade quicker for those that have oily skin or have a lot of sun exposure. Normally we recommend a yearly touch up for a color boost to keep your brows fresh.
The time it takes for a touch up session varies from 30 minutes to an hour depending on the condition of your brows. A touch up session is much shorter than the initial session because your shape is already there and only certain areas will need to be fixed.
The healing time for a touch up is usually much shorter than the initial session because it is less intense and there is less trauma to the skin. You can expect the healing period for a touch up to be about 7 days and there is usually very little to no scabbing.
Our Brow Artists customize every treatment for each client. We base your brow procedure on your desired look, skin type, skin tone, and bone structure to give you beautiful brows. We hope this helps you choose which brow method is best for you before you head in for your appointment. As always, we’re always here if you need more advice, want a recommendation, or have any questions about getting your perfect brows!
