Eyelash extension general information
- A non-invasive, non-surgical beauty service that enhances the appearance of your natural eyelashes.
- Applied using a professional-grade adhesive and precise placement onto each natural lash.
- Different from false/strip lashes — extensions modify the length, curl, and thickness of your own lashes.
- It's natural to shed one to three lashes per eye per day, similar to the hair on your head.
- We use premium silk and faux-mink lashes (other types include mink and synthetic).
- Extensions can last up to a month or more, depending on your lash cycle, makeup routine, and skin type.
- Oily skin, frequent makeup use, or the shedding phase can cause more fallout over time.
- Refills every 2–3 weeks keep your set full and uniform. Past 3 weeks, a new full set is needed.

Classic
One individual synthetic lash applied to one natural lash — enhancing length, curl, and thickness for a very natural look.
Hybrid
A blend of Classic and Volume — a pattern of single and multiple lashes for a natural yet fuller finish.
Volume
Multiple lightweight, ultra-fine lashes fanned onto each natural lash for a full, voluminous look — perfect for daily wear or special occasions.
Mega Mink Volume
The ultimate in fullness — 6–10 fine 0.5mm mink-like lashes fanned onto each natural lash for intense, glamorous volume.
Understanding your natural lash growth
Your lashes move through three phases — which is why refills keep your set looking full.
Anagen
The active growth phase. Around 35–40% of upper lashes are in Anagen at any time; each grows to a set length, then stops.
Catagen
Growth stops and the follicle begins to shrink. If a lash falls or is pulled out now, it won't grow back until this phase completes.
Telogen
The lash is fully grown and rests before it naturally falls out and a new lash begins to grow in its place.

How do I book an appointment for eyelash extensions?
You can book right on our website under the "Appointment" tab, or use the Book buttons on this page to open our online scheduler.
How long do eyelash extensions last?
When applied properly, a new full set can last up to two months, depending on your natural lash growth cycle. To maintain the look, a refill is recommended every 2–3 weeks.
How often should I get a refill?
We recommend a refill every two to three weeks. Natural lashes shed on their own growth cycle (about 3–5 lashes per day on average), so refills replenish the lashes that have completed their life cycle and keep your set full.
Who should not get eyelash extensions?
You should not get extensions if you're allergic to acrylate/cyanoacrylate (the adhesive bonding agent), or react to adhesive tape, topical creams, or nail adhesives, or have an eye disease, condition, surgery, or injury.
Please also avoid extensions with conditions such as: alopecia, asthma, blepharitis, cancer/chemo treatment, intense stress, light sensitivity, migraines, rosacea, sensitive or watery eyes, stroke/TIA, thyroid disease, recent eye surgery, current eye irritation, or possible pregnancy. When in doubt, check with your doctor first.
Can I apply mascara to my extensions?
You can, but you won't need to — extensions already give a fuller, darker look. If you must, only use a water-based mascara, never waterproof.
How do I take care of my extensions?
You'll receive aftercare instructions after your appointment. To maintain and extend the life of your lashes:
- Do not wash your eyes or shower for 24 hours after application
- Be gentle with your lashes and avoid rubbing your eyes
- Keep them clean and dry, and brush them daily
- Cleanse with a lash shampoo or water daily
- Sleep on your back, not your side
- Avoid direct heat while blow-drying your hair
How do I remove my extensions?
Extensions should be removed by a professional lash artist using the correct adhesive gel remover. Home or self-removal is strongly discouraged and can damage your lashes and eyes. We offer removal services — call (203) 298-9966 to book a removal appointment.
