Microblading

Microblading replaces sparse individual hairs for a very natural result. This brow technique uses pigment to create hyper-realistic hair-like strokes. The pigment is implanted into the skin manually using a hand-held tool during your brow session. The device is crafted of several tiny needles that add a semi-permanent pigment to the skin. The microblade goes deeper into the skin’s epidermis (upper layers) to help create a natural-looking effect.
  • Last 12-18 months depending on skin type
  • Best on normal/dry skin. If you have semi oily to oily skin we recommend adding shading or ombre powder brows for best results
Your ideal brow shape is achieved one stroke at a time. Microblading creates incredibly natural-looking brows, with each stroke mimicking real eyebrow hair.

Powder Brows

Ombre Powder Brows give the look of gradient shaded makeup that can be as subtle or as bold as you prefer. Ombre shading uses a small machine to position very thin dots of pigment into the skin to create a 100% customizable look. Brows look most like powder makeup – hence the name Powder Brows. With this method, the pigment isn’t placed as deep into the epidermis as Microblading, but it creates a more defined, solid look than microblading alone.
  • Great for all skin types
  • Typically last 2-3 years depending on skin type, life style, aftercare
Ombre Powder Brows can also cover old microblading, semi-permanent makeup, or cosmetic tattooing that has (somewhat) faded.

Nano Brows

Nano blading is more similar to Microblading than Ombre Powder Brows. Nano Brows fill in scarce, thin brows for a thicker appearance. Nano Brows use a smaller needle with a hand-held machine to deposit pigment into the epidermis to create natural-looking hair strokes. The super-fine needle creates hair-like tattoo strokes that can thicken the look of the brows and change the overall shape of your brow.

The small needle allows for excellent precision and accuracy to give you natural-looking results.

  • Great for all skin types
  • Typically last 1-2 years depending on skin type, lifestyle, aftercare
  • Color will fade 30%-40% lighter

  • Last 12-18 months depending on skin type

Difference between microblading & powder brows

Who Is It Best For?

Microblading is ideal for someone who:

  • Wants realistic and natural-looking brows
  • Has thin or patchy brows
  • Has experienced hair loss
  • Needs a subtle shape enhancement
  • Doesn’t want to use makeup to fill in their brows
  • Has a normal to dry skin type

Ombre Powder Brows are ideal for someone who:

  • Likes the look of powder-filled brows
  • Wants a soft and natural look
  • Has sensitive or more mature skin
  • Has oily skin, acne-prone skin, or enlarged pores
  • Wants to create a stronger shape to their brows
  • Wants to add definition or darken their brows
  • Doesn’t want to use makeup to fill in their brows
Microblading (or eyebrow embroidery) is a relatively new, manual method. It is considered to be semi-permanent, as compared to the traditional hairstroke technique. It is done using a very fine blade to deposit pigments into the epidermis. Because we’re impacting color closer to the surface, the strokes appear crisp and very fine. There is no “spilling” under the skin. This method is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows. The results are natural looking, hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of hair present. People suffering from alopecia, trigonometrical or any other condition that causes hair loss benefit greatly from Microblading, as well as people who simply aren’t happy with their eyebrows. The pigments used in this method have been formulated to match your original eyebrow color, and if the eyebrows are still present, blend perfectly into them. The results are a natural, flawless, fuller looking brow. Initially, the brows appear darker, but fade significantly over a two week period. It is absolutely crucial to have a touch up done, as it is very difficult to predict how well the skin will retain the pigment.

Anaesthetics (Numbing Cream) are used for your comfort. Some clients find the procedure a little uncomfortable, whereas other clients report no discomfort at all depending on the client’s pain tolerance. On average our clients say the pain level is a 3 on a 1 to 10.

No. We do not perform microblading during pregnancy or while breast feeding. The chemicals in anesthetic and pigments are not recommended during pregnancy or while breast feeding.

You may not do this procedure if:

  • You are under 18
    You get Keloid scars
  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You have been on Accutane within 1 year of the procedure.
    Diabetic
  • Have HIV or Hepatitis or any other viral infections and/or diseases
  • Undergoing Chemotherapy
    Epilepsy
  • A Pacemaker or major heart problems
  • Had an organ transplant
  • Sick (cold, flu, ect. Will affect the healing process, please reschedule)
  • You have irritation of the skin of any kind such as blemishes, pimples, rash, psoriosis, eczema, rosacea, sunburn on the area of procedure.
  • You are on acne medication. Be off 7 days before appointment and avoid 30 days after
  • You generally don’t heal well and develop infections easily
  • Do NOT DRINK ALCOHOL or CAFFEINE before the procedure (at least 24hrs for alcohol)
  • Do NOT TAKE ADVIL or other blood thinners such a Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E and/or Ibuprofen unless medically necessary, 48-72 hrs prior to your procedure. Extra strength Tylenol can be taken if you have low pain tolerance.
  • If you have recently tanned this will affect the outcome of the healed color.
  • If you’ve had laser removal of previous work done by someone else, the treated area has now more scar tissue and can affect the outcome of the result. More treatments may be necessary to have the skin take the color.
  • Injectable cosmetic procedure should be done 2 weeks before or 2 weeks after the procedure.
  • Avoid exercising the day of procedure as this will open up the pores.
  • Please note that you will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.
  • No waxing or tinting 3 days before
  • It usually takes 2 appointments for desired results. The first appointment is about structure, design, and building hairstrokes. the touchup is about seeing how the skin heals and retains pigment, as well as making any necessary adjustments to achieve better symmetry and volume.
  • Immediately following your procedure, the tattooed area will appear to be darker and bolder in color and more sharply defined. Over the next 2 days it will appear even darker and thicker as scabs begin to form. Let the scabs naturally flake off bit by bit. It will take up to 14 days for scabbing to be over.
  • You may gently rinse your eyebrows with water or shower. However, DO NO soak your eyebrows in water for a long period of time such as taking a long shower with water directly onto your eyebrows for more than 5 minutes or swimming. You may not apply any kind of products (except for ointment) for at least 10 days after.
NO makeup on the eyebrows area for 2 weeks.

Following after care instruction is very crucial to the success of your microbladed eyebrows. Do not let any water touch your eyebrows for a long period of time (quick rinse 30 minutes after the procedure is okay). Do not let any lotion, soap, or makeup touch your eyebrow area during the first 7 days after your procedure.

Immediately after, the area will be EXTREMELY dark and get darker over the next 2 days as a scab forms in the area. 30-50% of your pigment will be in the scabs. Over the next 7-14 days your scabs should flake off bit by bit. Some people scab in light flakes and some develop a thick scab.

Everybody is different, but whatever you do, do NOT pick at the scabs and make sure you read through and follow the AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS properly to obtain the best results.

If the scabbing phase is not over by 14 days, please continue your Aftercare instructions until scabs are completely gone.

After the scabbing phase is over, you will see that the color of your pigment appears foggy and muted in color because a layer of skin has grown over the pigment to seal it in. Not to worry, over the next several weeks your skin will regenerate and the pigment will be more vibrant in color. The complete healing process takes at least 6 weeks which is when the true orientation of the pigment will show.

For most people, there shouldn’t be too much of a problem going to work or being out in public, as long as you’re good at following aftercare instructions. However, some people may develop thicker scabs and have minor swelling. You may take an Advil or apply an icepack after your treatment to reduce swelling and discomfort.

    • 30 minutes after the treatment, RINSE the eyebrows with neutral soap (children’s) or cold water. Remove all the lymph that may appear on the eyebrows. After that apply a very thin layer of PhiShield (after care cream).
    • Repeat this procedure 3-5 times during the day. If the treatment was done late in the afternoon and you do not have time to do it 3 to 5 times, put a plastic foil over the eyebrows you previously applied the cream on, so that you protect the eyebrows from dry ing and wiping overnight.
    • In the next 7 days, maintain facial hygiene and apply the cream after washing your face or having a shower. PhiShied (after care cream) can be used on all skin types, due to its natural active components that regulate oiling.
